$75 adoption donation Sweet Barkley came to our rescue after his human passed away. He is SO sweet, gets along perfectly with everyone--humans and animals. He is a senior, so a lower activity level home would be best. He does know the doggy door, but seems to have trouble finding his way back inside, so he is best being let out frequently to potty. Barkley is 11 yrs old and 13 lbs.

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-22-00378Arnie (male)

Bichon Frise Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: Very Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Arthritis

$50 adoption donation Sweet 14 year old Arnie was turned in to the shelter after his owner passed away. The loud, crowded shelter was just too much for him, he was so terrified and out of sorts-he shook, drooled, panted, and just about had a heart attack. We were contacted by the shelter and asked to take him ASAP, which of course we did! Arnie is the NICEST boy. He is housebroken with a doggy door, however, he only has access to a covered patio. If the home has a large yard, there should not be a doggy door as sometimes old dogs get confused and can't find their way back in. Arnie gets along well with all the dogs, he is very ... (Read More)submissive, so dogs in his new home should be gentle and friendly. He is about 15lbs. A little arthritic--but he gets around great! He likes to nap in the kitchen, so that's where we keep his bed and water bowl. Arnie is a great boy who did not deserve to end his life in a shelter after being so well cared for all these years. We are hoping a caring family will open up their home to Arnie in his golden years--however long or short of a time that may be!!! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-17-00404Cassie (female)

Bichon Frise Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

$200 adoption fee Meet Cassie! Cassie came to us from a Southern Arizona shelter, this poor gal had surgery to repair double cherry eyes. In addition she will be having surgery to remove some mammary tumors on 6/18. Cassie is about 10-12 lbs, we are guessing around 4 years old Her absolute favorite things are tennis balls!!!! She LOVES to play fetch!!! She is as sweet as can be, but she does have her quirks. She prefers women to men, does not like to feel cornered, is good with dogs but is bossy and is possessive of her ball and/or toys. Ideally an adult only female household as an only pet--however she has been fostered in a ... (Read More)couple of homes with both men and other dogs and done fine. Adoption fees include: Spay/neuter Current vaccinations including Da2Ppv, Rabies, and Bordatella 4dx snap test--Heartworm, tick fever (erlichia), lyme disease, and anaplasmosis Microchip Dental cleaning (if needed) Current on Heartguard + and Frontline + (Less)

Bichon Frise Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Blind

Katy Perry is in foster care and will not attend adoption events. Please contact us if you are interested in meeting her! $50 adoption donation Katy is the SWEETEST little lady. At 9 years old she is finally enjoying life--as before coming to us she lived in a horrible state of neglect, only to be used for producing puppies. When she arrived, her eyes were bulging, very painful from glaucoma left untreated for a very long time. Both eyes needed to be removed, leaving her permanently blind. That does not stop her! You would be AMAZED at how well and easily she gets around. She is a great lap dog, but does also love to play! Katy ... (Read More)is about 12lbs. She does well with other dogs, but believe it or not...can be bossy! Katy deserves the very best home!
