Puffy Puffy! (3 We're now taking applications for this adorable bonded pair. They are half-brothers who have been togethe for 8 years (they're 9 years old). They're inseparable, delightful, bouncy, loving, playful, housebroken, and cuter than cute! They LOVE their treats and will reach reallllly high for one (like in one of the pictures). Buddy & Scrappy are a Bichon / Maltese mix. They will be at Pet Club on Sunday (9325 E. Shea Blvd in Scottsdale) from approx 11:15am until 2pm. They'll be officially available for adoption as of Tuesday 4/11 (after their dental appointment on Monday 4/10). But, meet & greets are Sunday, April 9th, ... (Read More)application required, and upon approved application and home visit, they can be adopted. These little loves will do best in a home with a yard vs. an apartment or condo, and do not want to be alone 8+ hours a day. They are use to having someone with them all the time and will have separation anxiety if left alone all day. They are good with kids but we'd like children in the family to be at least 10 years old and responsible (dashing out the front door is fun for them ... if not careful .. and it's not fun in the long run). Please come and meet them Sunday. You may request and complete an adoption application in advance, or at the event. Adoption fee is $560 for the pair. Both neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and fresh clean teeth (as of Monday!). (Less)

The 1st step to adopting any of our dogs is to fill out an application by going to our website. www.azrain.org. Click on ADOPT tab, then DOG INTEREST FORM. A super sweet gal named Sophie is needing a forever place to call home...preferably in your bed at night, and someone to cuddle with on the couch. She came in as a surrender along with her biological sister named Spade. The owner passed away and the 2 girls went to the sons home to stay, but the family dog didn't want anything to do with them. So the 2 are back to needing a place to live. They don't have to be together, but if you are looking for a pair to keep each other company while ... (Read More)you are gone, this would be a great option for you as they are already familiar with each other. They are 3 years old, and have a mama Bichon and their daddy is Chihuahua...and neither look like the other. BOTH are small and weigh 5lbs. (So they certainly won't take up much room). Sophie has longer hair like moma. Spade looks like daddy. These 2 are truly adorable. Both are doggy door trained, and will also use pee pads. Both of these girls are going in to get spay on March 27th and then will be given a booster shot, Rabies shot and micro-chipped. Sophies adoption fee is set at $200.00 IF you have your application in already for another dog and you were not chosen to get it, and if its been within 90 days, theres no need for you to fill out another application if you are interested in this pup. All you need to do is email us and let us know you applied for ___, and now you are interested in ___. We will make sure the switch is made for you! OTHERWISE'|******IF Interested in adopting, Go to the ADOPT tab, and click on Dog Interest Form on our website at www.azrain.org.. *IF YOU CAN READ THIS, I AM STILL AVAILABLE. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A CHANCE AT ME, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION BY GOING TO AZRAIN.ORG AND CLICKING ON THE ADOPT TAB, THEN THE DOG INTEREST FORM. THERE IS NO WAY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ME WITHOUT COMPLETING ONE. R.A.I.N RESCUE DOES NOT BRING ANY OF THEIR DOGS OR PUPPIES TO ANY EVENTS. IF YOU ARE CHOSEN TO SEE ME, YOU WILL GET A CALL. SOMETIMES IT TAKES A BIT TO FIND OUR FOREVER HOMES AS WE HAVE TO BE SPAY or NEUTERED 1ST, CURRENT ON SHOTS AND MICRO-CHIPPED'|.AND THE DOG DIRECTOR IS VERY PICKY! ITS ALL ABOUT 'US'! Please don't call to ask if this dog/puppy is still available. We remove them with in 24 hours of adoption, besides, you know you will find another one and your application will be good for 90 days for any of our dogs/puppies at R.A.I.N. Rescue! The 1st step to adopting any of our dogs is to fill out an application by going to our website. www.azrain.org. Click on forms tab, then DOG INTEREST FORM. We do not bring our small dogs to adoption events, because #1) they are normally scared to death and very nervous, not knowing what's going on with the many people coming up to the pens and hovering over them. Many shiver and shake with the unknown. #2) People adopt on impulse when they see a particularly 'cute' dog/puppy. When they are adopted on impulse, reality sets in with in the 1st month of adopting it'|Oh, this puppy ate the leg off my chair, I can't have that!.., or '|You said this dog was house trained and it pees all over'| and then in many cases they are returned to rescue. #3) When people have to fill out a form 1st, and read all the questions about the care of a dog/puppy, they see that there are many aspects to adopting a family member, that they may not of thought of. They also realize that it is a life time commitment. The application Is done prior to adopting, so the family understands the seriousness and responsibilities of ownership. We have applications available at 2840 W Chandler Blvd. (At Petsmart, in the Lowes shopping center). It is located at the 101 and chandler blvd. OR, you can go to our website and get one, then email back to us at info@azrain.org OR, hand deliver it to us on Saturdays at our Donation Table we have set up, right of the front door of Petsmart. Volunteers run the table every Saturday from 10am-2pm. They will make sure it gets to the correct Dept. Many Thanks! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are a 501c3 non profit Rescue. R.A.I.N. Rescue (Rescuing Animals in Need). ** ALL OF OUR PETS ARE: micro-chipped, (cats are feline Leukemia tested), up to date on immunization shots, spayed/neutered and dogs are current on Rabies shot.. The dogs/puppies are taken off the website with in 48 hrs of being adopted, SO if you see one that interests you, plz fill out an application. IN THE EVENT you do not get the dog or cat that you are applying for, your application will stay on file for 3 months. If you find another pet with RAIN Rescue that you are interested in, (within the 3 month period), just call or email us and tell us the name of the pet and that you have previously filled out a INTEREST form, and which one you are currently interested in. We will pull your application for the specific dog. ** Just a (Less)
