Rescue Me ID: 17-02-10-00306Blanca (female)
Everyone meet Blanca. She is a five year old Bichon/Poodle mix who is searching for her furrever home. She has not had the best puppyhood before coming to the shelter. She was used for breeding much of her life so she deserves a relaxing home. Her adoption fee is $300 which covers her recent vetting, shots, vaccinations and microchipping. This pretty girl is ready for a home, so stop by the shelter and fall in love with her and those big brown eyes!! Our online applications and more info about our facility found at www.warrickhumanesociety.org! All of our dogs receive extra love and attention. They are tested for Heartworms, vaccinated, spay/neutered, microchipped and Revolution flea/tick applied prior to adoption. We REQUIRE an approved application including vet reference for adoption and a home visit in some circumstances. Each dog will be placed in a home that is appropriate for that dog and we reserve the right to deny adoption for any reason. Here's how it works: ShelterCare Pet Insurance Programs cover you when your pet needs essential veterinary care from an illness or injury. Also, every time a completed application for a ShelterCare program is generated through our shelter's website, we automatically receive a $25 donation to help cover common needs like blankets, litter and food. This donation is of no cost to you and provides us with essential funds. Make the right move and enroll today! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-09-00177Duff (male)
We adopted Duff from a rescue 6 years ago. It's believed that he was once a puppy mill breeder. He coexists happily with our other male bichon, though we've had some issues with marking of territory in our home. For that reason, an only-pet situation might be best. Duff thrives on positive attention, and really wants to be a lap dog. Duff needs a new home because he's bitten our toddler more than once (out of fear), drawing blood, so he definitely needs a home with no young children. Duff has allergies that cause him to chew on his feet and lick and scratch constantly if not treated with medication. His allergies also cause his breath to smell, and his hears need regular cleaning. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-03-00388Tinker (male)
Has been pet of senior owner. Tinker has very uwhite fur. Weighs 11 pounds. Veterinarian removed all his teeth at age 8 because they were bad. His health since then has been excellent. His loss of teeth has necessitated his need for soft food. He has responded excellently.

Bichon Frise Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Bichon Frise is a cute, small, lovable dog. Bichon Frises are very companionable and like to go everywhere with their people. Bichon Frises get along wonderfully with children and other pets. Bichon Frises need to run and play and get plenty of exercise; in addition to playing, they need to be taken on regular walks. Bichon Frises do not yap indiscriminately and they make good watchdogs.
