Max is a senior, 21 pound Bichon. He loves attention and sticks to his humans like glue. Wherever you go Max will be right at your feet. Like many seniors his hearing and vision aren't the greatest. Neither affect his quality of life. He is a happy guy who likes exploring his yard and being with his people. Since Max is a senior he would love a home without a lot of stairs and with people who are around much of the time. Humans have failed Max at least twice. He was owner surrendered to the city shelter in March of 2016. Max was in pretty sad shape, his nails were long and his coat was matted. Over 2 pounds of fur was shaved off him. Max ... (Read More)had a full blood panel and a dental. The shelter adopted him out in June of 2016 and those people brought him back to the shelter in June of 2017. Max was dumped not once, but twice at a shelter. Max is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested. All he needs are people that understand dogs are family.
