We have been trying for a few days to get a good shot of this boy and today after about an hour of playing with him he finally stood still for a picture. This is Buddy (actually Air Bud). He is about 11 years old and came out of the neglect home. He is reported to be a Rat Terrier/Bichon mix. He is extremely active - he was apparently called 'air bud' because of the way he jumps around. Now that he is feeling better and rid of all of those horrible fleas and his skin is starting to finally heal - he feels great and is all about loving and playing with you. He isn't very shy around strangers - give him two minutes and a treat and you will ... (Read More)be his best friend. This boy will be harder to find a home for because of his age. An awesome home for him would be a retired individual or couple that are still active. He has done great on not going potty inside and he let's you know when he has to go. He does bark when he is locked up but if you just let him play until he wears himself out it isn't a problem. It is absolutely amazing to watch the spirit of these dogs as they come back and know that someone is loving them and caring for them. This guy will make an excellent companion for someone. He is now ready for forever with someone who will love him and care for him. His coat will grow back and he will be adorable. (Less)

This is Jeronimo - he will be a while before he is ready for a new home. We will not post any before pictures of him - suffice it to say it was not pretty. His ear is pretty cut up and we are very slowly getting it to heal. His skin is in horrible condition from the amount of fleas. He does NOT care for men or strangers. Someone tried to open his kennel door over the weekend and he went nuts. He is doing great with us and does fine if one of us pick him up and hand him to someone else. He is reported to be Lily's dad. He is about three years old. He is supposedly a Pug/Rat Terrier/Bichon mix. We will be seeking a special foster ... (Read More)home for him with the ongoing medical care and the skittish nature. He is great once he gets to know you but prior to that you wanna watch yourself. When he is all healed he will not be adopted into a home with children and quite possibly will need to live with a female only. We will have to see as time goes on. (Less)
