[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Maxie has been with our family her whole life and is friendly and adorable. We lived in a rural area for many years and she loves the outside. Last year we moved to the city and now our home has no yard. Two months ago she was diagnosed with bladder stones and told that she also has an enlarged heart which makes surgery a difficult option. I am so sad to say that the combination of no yard and her condition has made it too difficult to keep her but she still has lots of pep and has been an awesome pet. I would love to see her live out her last years with plenty of grass to roam in and she is very loving and gentle. We have a cat and had another bichon for 15 years and they got along great, also have guest dogs from time to time and there has never been a problem. She is great with children too. My son is being deployed to Kuwait and it would break his heart along with my other children's and mine if we had to put her down but I am running out of options--my house is about to be renovated and will not be a good place for her with all the dust. If anyone can provide a loving home and yard she will reward you with much love in return! (Less)

Bichon Frise Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. The Bichon Frise is a cute, small, lovable dog. Bichon Frises are very companionable and like to go everywhere with their people. Bichon Frises get along wonderfully with children and other pets. Bichon Frises need to run and play and get plenty of exercise; in addition to playing, they need to be taken on regular walks. Bichon Frises do not yap indiscriminately and they make good watchdogs.
