Rescue Me ID: 15-05-18-00173Gracie (female)

Bichon Frise Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Gracie is about 6 years old (could be 7) and is a bichon mixed with something (I don't know what). Gracie is soooooo loveable and great with babies/kids because she really doesn't care about them when they bother or pull on her. My daughter will literally climb right over Gracie and Gracie just lays there LOL. Gracie barks and gets anxious when new people come into the house though, which can be annoying. She will be attached to your hip (which surprisingly isn't annoying and kind of cute that she just wants to be near you). She has separation anxiety for sure and is territorial. She is on medication that cost about $32 a month I believe ... (Read More)(one for itching, the other for her thyroid, nothing serious). She has random accidents in the house which is why I am trying to find a new home for her. People say you can retrain a dog but I haven't had the time to do this. I just feel bad because she doesn't get the attention she needs. We never walk her which is my fault but not fair to her. I think if she was walked more and if someone paid her more attention, she would be happier (obviously). She is super sweet and I have felt torn about giving her away but with a second baby on the way, I feel this is the best decision for Gracie and for our family. I love her to death but don't know if I can handle Gracie and two kids at this point in time. (Less)
