Bichon Frise Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Stewart is a very very sweet male Bichon Poodle Mix. He is somewhere between 9 and 11 years old and weights 23 lbs. He is Up to date on his Rabies, Distemper and Parvo Vaccines and has no medical issues. He does have a cherry eye that is not an issue medically, (only cosmetically). He is great with babies, kids, dogs and is a wonderful family dog. His only issue is that as with many male Bichons, he has some leg lifting issues inside. He will tell you when he has to go outside, but will also occasionally go inside as well, so whomever adopts him needs to keep a belly band on him inside till you are sure he is not leg lifting inside. His ... (Read More)current family had adopted him but with 3 very young kids (age 2, 5 & 7) they just don't have the time or patience to keep up with his potty needs. I am sure if a retired person or someone that worked from home who has the attention to give him and more frequent potty breaks, I believe he will do well during the day. Overnight you may always need to keep a belly band on him. If you are interested in adopting Stewart, please fill out an application at: http://www.bichonrescuenj.com/bichon-frise-rescue-nnj-adoption-app.html You should live within 3 hours of NJ or Western PA... but willing to consider adopters a little further as long as they are willing to drive to pick him up.
