the little boy is a very sweet dog, great personality, he does have some guarding issues with certain objects, and will become very protective of a child, and may snap at people or children to protect his child, so prob best without children, other than his protective issues he is a great little dog. email for more info or app

|Rescue Me ID: 14-07-02-00362Cotton (male)|
Cotton was on the kill-list at a high-kill shelter. The shelter reached out for help and we said we'd take him. We're not sure how he ended up there, but at 2 years old he must have had a family at some point. Whoever they were, they didn't bother to housetrain him so he'll need some work in that department and his foster is working with him on that. His foster has this to say about him: 'Cotton is the best puppy. We love him so much. Cotton is a cuddle bug. He is always looking for a snuggle partner. This is definitely a sleep-in-your-bed dog. Cotton is not barky, and is pretty calm in general. I'm sitting on the edge of my chair as I write this, and he's sitting right behind me on the seat of the chair! Cotton is tiny, he could easily hide behind a basketball. He's great with our dog (who is also small, but still twice his size), and he's great with our kids, even our two year old. Cotton is a seriously lovable dog'. Cotton weighs just 10 pounds. Please help Cotton find the loving home he deserves. Interested in adopting? Casper is an (almost 8 year old) Male, Neutered, Bichon. He is up to date on shots and healthy. His owner adopted him from a shelter 3 years ago, but she is now is seriously ill and is being moved out of state to be cared for by her daughter and can't bring Casper with her as her daughter has a dog and they are only allowed one per household. Plus Casper is not very dog friendly so he needs to be in a ONE DOG HOME. He is very sweet and needs a new loving home! To be considered for one our Bichons, you must fill out an online application. at http://www.bichonrescuenj.com/bichon-frise-rescue-nnj-adoption-app.html Due to the volume of emails we receive, we cannot answer individual emails; if we feel your home may be a match for a dog, we will contact you usually within one week of application submission. Bichon Frise Dogs can make good pets in New Jersey if they match your IifestyIe. The Bichon Frise is a cute, small, lovable dog. Bichon Frises are very companionable and like to go everywhere with their people. Bichon Frises get along wonderfully with children and other pets. Bichon Frises need to run and play and get plenty of exercise; in addition to playing, they need to be taken on regular walks. Bichon Frises do not yap indiscriminately and they make good watchdogs.
