Bichon Frise Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Kelly is a 7 year old female (Bichon/Shitzu Mix). She was surrendered due to financial hardship of the owners who could not afford to care for her. She currently needs possible bladder stone removal which our rescue is taking care at our vet. She may, in the future, need to be on a special prescription diet so she does not get stones again. She is very sweet and timid at first, but after a day or so she will come out of her shell and follow you around everywhere. She LOVES Kids and gets excited and wags her tail when she sees them on her walks. She is also great with little dogs (But is a somewhat fearful of large dogs). She will be a ... Bichon Frise    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Gizmo is a young acting, 13 year old Bichon. His mommy lost her home and has been living in motels with him, but she knows that is no life for him or for her. She has someone that will let her stay with them, but she can't bring Gizmo with her because they have a Pit Bull that is NOT dog friendly. It will take her far too long to get back on her feet and knows that he needs a new home where someone can love him and give him the stability she no longer can give him. Gizmo has been well loved and cared for and it shows. He is neutered, healthy, friendly, great with kids, dogs and cats and just loves everyone. He is a healthy 21 lbs full of ... (Read More)love. He loves to cuddle, loves to take walks and is very affectionate. He will even Bichon Buzz around like he was still a puppy His only issue is may need to wear a belly band overnight or anytime he does not have access to go outside often. So far our foster says he has had no accidents inside! Other than that he is an amazing, loving little boy that needs a loving home to live our his golden years. Rescue Me ID: 16-03-26-00104Romeo & Juliet

Bichon Frise    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

Romeo & Juliet are a bonded pair and we would like to keep them that way. They are very, very attached to each other. They were found together on a side street in Eastern PA not far from the NJ Boarder in the middle of the street. Police, ASPCA, local vets and neighbors in that area were all called and no one knew who they belonged to and no one has reported them missing. They had no collars, no leashes, and are not microchipped. (it was later discovered that someone saw a man dump them there and drive off). Romeo is probably between 5 & 8 years old, and Juliet about 8 years old. They had a FULL Checkup, Blood work, Urine, Fecal, Heartworm ... (Read More)Tests, updated vaccines by our vet this week and have a CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH! They are both are badly in need of a dental cleaning which we have for the end of April. They are VERY Sweet and love all people and love to greet anyone they meet with enthusiastic tail wagging! Juliet is FULLY house trained and has never had an inside accident even when she had to hold it for over 13 hours one day when I was out. Romeo is mostly housetrained and will only go in his belly band or on a wee wee pad if not taken out often enough. I am sure once they are adopted and in a steady routine, he will be perfect too. They do bark at other dogs when on walks, so a home without other pets is recommended, or possible a home that has only another low key female dog. These 2 sweeties are available for adoption together. The ideal home for them would be with a senior couple or senior / retired person that can spend time with them as they really love being with their human(s). Even a work from home person or other person that is home most of the time. If you are interseted in adopting them together please fill out our application at this link: http://www.bichonrescuenj.com/bichon-frise-rescue-nnj-adoption-app.html (Less)
