1 Year old Male Bichon!!! Someone gave this Sweet boy as a Christmas present and the recipient could not keep him as he does not like to be alone at home all day and she is single, lives alone in an highrise in NYC and is rarely home. We picked him up last week and He is currently with one of our Foster's but needs to get a new home or foster asap. He has his vaccinations but is not neutered (which we are paying to have done at our vet at the end of January). He is NOT house trained and needs someone willing to train him properly (this may take several weeks or even months) so if you are not willing to stick it out and train him, or do ... (Read More)not have experience with house training a dog, than this is not the dog for you. He also needs help with separation anxiety as he has been bounced around 3-4 times in his short 1 year of life. He was matted when we got him so he needed to be shaved down. He is currently shaved short, but that will grow back soon. We will need an adoptive home or foster home ASAP for this sweet little guy! We prefer a home from someone that lives here in Northern or Central NJ and where there is a stay at home person or someone that is not out too long during the day, he does not like being alone. Not sure how he is with young children, but older children should be fine. Also he is wary of most dogs and barks at them. He would need to be tested around other dogs, so also prefer a home where he is the only dog or you have a submissive dog. If you are interested in adopting or fostering the baby... please fill out an application at: (Less)

This is BEN. Ben is a handsome 14 year old, male Bichon. Ben's owner passed away a few months ago and Ben's owner's wife works full time and is not home enough to give Ben the attention he deserves. He was used to being with his daddy all day long and now he is all alone and she is out all day and sometimes night. Ben was always house trained till about a month or 2 ago, after his daddy died. He has since had a few accidents in the house (probably due to not being taken out frequently enough) and possibly due to sadness and loneliness over the loss of his daddy. (nothing time, love, consistency and possible a belly band won't cure). Ben ... (Read More)is very healthy and has a good amount of energy for his age. He still loves to play and go for walks and has years of love left to give. Won't you please open your home and heart to this sweet boy. We are also open to having someone permanently foster Ben. That would mean Ben would be yours forever to live with you and love you. You would be responsible for his grooming, food and other day to day expenses, however our rescue would pay for his veterinary needs for the rest of his life. To be a permanent foster you MUST Live in Northern NJ and be willing to take Ben to his check ups, wellness or sickness issues or any other vet needs that may arise in the future ONLY to our rescue Vet in West Caldwell NJ. If you are interested in adopting or even fostering Ben, please fill out an application at this link: (Less)
