%A0 Hi'| my name is Simon. I am a male Maltese/Poodle/Bichon Mix who weighs 8.6 pounds and has been estimated at approximately 4 years by the vet and shelter. %A0 I came into Puppy Pals Rescue when Mr. Russ came to the local shelter and noticed me. He thought that I was very handsome (even in the condition that I was in - which was not good) and soon after sprung me out of that place. I came in the rescue not feeling well. I had some flea infestation and have some allergies'| I didn't have any hair on my legs and paws. My long hair was all matted. We didn't know how I was going to turn out after being groomed ... (Read More)- they did a great job, I think. I feel much better physically and don't mind looking at myself in the mirror now. I am quite a handsome fella. Puppy Pals doesn't know all that much about me as I was picked up as a stray by the shelter. We know that I was found out in a field all by myself and the shelter was hoping that someone would come and claim me. Mr. Russ told them that if I was not claimed - that he claimed me a PPR foster dog! I'm so happy now and I'm starting to feel like a Prince. I get to run out in the big fenced in back yard at the K'house with all the crazy dogs here - we take turns chasing each other. I didn't know life could be this good. I'm getting good food and lots of treats. I am on the skinny side. I'm sure with regular meals that I'll get to a healthy weight. %A0 Since I've been here I've been neutered and all my shots have been given. I have been heartworm and fecal tested and micro-chipped. That Mr. Russ tried to put a pink collar on me and my foster mom had to remind him that I'm a Boy! Mr. Russ is so funny. %A0 I'm good on the leash and like to ride in the car. I get along with other dogs and like to play. The K'house doesn't have any children, but a volunteer came over with a young child and I let him pet and hug me. So, we think that I would do great with children. I would love to have a fenced yard to run in or someone to take me for long walks. I would be an excellent family dog or just fine with a single person. I'm doing okay with house-training, but will need to learn your routine and your patience. %A0 If you are truly interested in giving me a loving forever home - please go to the forms page on our website and complete an application to be considered to adopt me. If you have any questions, please contact my foster home @ lsklop@sbcglobal.net and they'll get back with you as soon as possible. %A0 I'll also be attending Petco adoption events until I'm adopted - so check out PPR's events page on our website for dates. I can't wait to meet you! For more pictures, go to: http://www.puppypalsrescue.com/Dogs_Simon1424.html (Less)
