Rescue Me ID: 14-12-31-00350Maggie (female)

Bichon Frise    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Maggie is a six year old bichon who was rescued from a puppy mill, where she received no socialization or training throughout her entire life. Maggie never really learned what it means to be a dog -- or a loved family member. Since arriving at the shelter in November, Maggie has been in a foster home, where she is slowly coming out of her shell. She gets along very well with the dogs and cats in the home, even cuddling up with them to sleep at night. She has learned that she REALLY likes soft dog beds. She is still a little unsure about people. She is excited to see them, and enjoys being around them, but is still leary of being petted or ... (Read More)picked up. She is a curious girl, who always peaks her head into a room to see what is going on. You can see she wants to be a part of the action, but she is still too afraid to join in. She loves to sit and look out the window. Maggie's dream home is one where her new family will be patient with her and let her get used to them without pushing her too much. She would do great with other pets, but would probably be scared by small children. She will need help learning basic dog skills, such as potty training and walking on a leash. Maggie's life story has been a rough one, but she is still hoping for a happy ending! (Less)

Bentley is a high energy loving dog. He is 7 years old. And needs to be better potty trained. Right now he spends time in a crate while I'm away at work. I just got a job that requires more travel time and i will be unable to care for him. He will be going to a shelter if I can't have him adopted in the next 2 weeks. He is great with me and my 5 year old however he isn't great with male adults. He's never been around cats or other dogs. He is up to date with vaccinations. Please email me any questions you might have. I am looking to have him adopted in the next 2 weeks.
